october 5, 2010 — almost finished with the soundtrack for the film. took a month-long vacation from working on 'dive pack', but will probably pick that back up once the music demo's finished or work on more visual stuff. applied for a job at a retail outlet. feeling good/focused/progress-oriented. pretty stoked

october 11, 2010 — decided to add a new song to the end of the soundtrack via the recent suicides related to gay-hating. seems weird to be doing something 'for a cause'; don't plan on making a habit of it. weather got warmish all of a sudden. immune system's taking a beating. came to the conclusion recently that there is no way to create a respected persona without first deciding not to hold any other person's persona/work in very high regard, because if one constantly refers back to another's work, it will be difficult to establish a clear voice that isn't permanently associated with the work it is based on/around. seems ironic that i am returning to this theorem after years of copycatting
